With their upcoming sixteenth studio album, "Carnaval de Luz", the Irish rock band, U2 is delivering their first album of new music since 2017. This collection follows their two EPs, "Days Of Ash" and "Easter Lily" that were released earlier in the year. "Carnaval de Luz" (which has a cover that's playfully reminiscent of the Beatles' "Abbey Road") features production by Garret "Jacknife" Lee, who was one of producers on the band's last album. In their fiftieth year as a group, U2 continues to offer songs that are introspective and uplifting through their distinctively towering sonic rhythms, effortlessly maintaining their rightful place as one of the world's greatest rock bands. And the album will include the song "Torn", which features the final recording by the late, country music legend, Dolly Parton. U2 will perform a concert for BBC Music on November 3rd shortly before the album's release on November 13th and the launch of their The Greatest Show on Earth Tour in 2027.
